Officially went back to school on the 3rd, and guess what? I GOT LOST. LOL. That school is freaking big o.o You don't really need 7 buildings to let about a thousand students study. Man, I sense that this year is going to be REALLY bad. We had the WORST luck of all classes LOL. Our french teacher(weird lady) is... well, VERY proud of her language. And thinks life is literature. LOL. I heard from a friend she's the one who slaps students. Amg STUDENT INDISCRIMINATION.
And wow, my maths(old geezer), english(weird lady too) and german teacher(hyperactive almost-baldie) are all so HAPPY to have me when I DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM. LOL.
In Maths: Oh hey, you're Singaporean? I had a Singaporean girl years ago called Rafizah, she was sooooooooo hard working AND SHE PASSED HER EXAMS ON HER FIRST TRY. -accusatory glance at everyone except me-
In English: Wow, you're bilingual? TRIlingual? You speak chinese to your family? Wow, I had a crack at mandarin once, but I forgot most of the words now, it was sooooooo hard. I have a friend in Paris... -fills space with useless chatter while rest of the class just stares at us like we're speaking alien language-
In German: WAHOO, ANOTHER SINGAPOREAN! You know Rafizah? HUH!? She was veerrryyyyy hard-working. I liked her. -continue chatter-

...Right. I really would prefer that my 3 teachers would have NOT shown a preference for me. I just want to be half-conscious during English class and have the teacher ignore me again. D: And the freaking old geezer wouldn't leave me alone. Like: "CHARMAINE! Go to the blackboard. :DDD" As if to prove how HARD-WORKING Singaporeans are. I swear he does that about twice an hour. PLEASE. Just let me sleep through one fucking hour. D< German... I got used to it last year, even though it's not the same teacher. So I guess it's alright. -___-

YAW! Summer holidays, so this blog went dead again, even though I didn't go anywhere. Heheh. :D So what made me come back? REPORTING THE NEWS, SIR. I'M GONNA HAVE ANOTHER COUSIN. ANOTHER *MALE*. Sob. Too many male cousins, and it can get to you. >.> Plus the number of cousins who I DON'T know. Eek. As you all know, I'm sexist. So I'm probably gonna start ranting about the ratio of males to females in this world. IF the number of male sperms and female sperms are the same, the male ones are STILL faster. SEE, LOOK AT THEIR EGO. EVEN IN THE SPERM STAGE, THEY'RE SHOWING OFF THEIR STRENGTH COMPARED TO OUR "WEAKNESS". AHHHHHHH. =( But, it is comforting to know that females are smarter and thus, HAVE A BETTER SENSE OF DIRECTION. AHAH.

Exams are over... it's the summer holidays. I expected to feel free... instead I'm in a daze, wondering what I'm even doing here. Yesterday the results for the schools came out... that show if you're accepted in the school or not. I didn't see my name... so I just thought, Maybe the school needs more time to decide. It IS an international school after all. But some small nagging part in my mind thought the opposite. Today, I didn't see any difference in the lists. I wanted to ask someone, but I didn't know who could help...
2 hours later. At the end of the exam, the teacher asked me to go see the principal concerning the school, saying there was a problem. I kinda... dropped my bag accidentally there. Shows how much I was paying attention what I was doing. So... the principal explained to me what exactly happened. "The school didn't choose you, even though you passed the entrance exam pretty well. It was probably because they don't accept students from other towns. You put that school as first choice, with the international option. They refused. You put that school in second choice too, without international option, but with japanese. They had no space left. Third choice, you took the school that's close by. Because they had already chosen the students who put their school in first and second choice, there's no more space for you, who put them in third choice. But it's not the question of your good grades or anything." What? So for this whole year, all that hard work just went down the drain? Because they "didn't feel like accepting students from other towns"? No one, where I live got in that school, that I know. But I can't even go to the one in town? When others, who've been fooling around the whole year got in? So now what? I can't get in a school? "There are three people who are in the same case as you. You, and -insert 2 names here-. I sent a letter to the principal explaining about the situation, and if they have a space, you'll be accepted." Yes me, what about those 2 others? You're gonna leave them with no school to go to? Somehow, that has always been my dream. Right now, it doesn't feel like a dream. It feels more like the truth hasn't hit, hasn't registered in my brain yet. Everyone tells me they think I'll be accepted anyway, don't worry, blah blah... or else they just say, ohhh, the poor thing. I don't want to be called that. I feel like I'm a deer shot down by a hunter, and people will say exactly that, but they don't really care. What did they say before the darned results came out? "You'll be fineeee, you're in the top 36 list of people who did the entrance exam. High chance of being chosen. =)" High. Me, I was banking more on the... low chance of not being chosen. Now... what? Do I go back to Singapore, find a school, and fail to get in? Do I stay here and hope? One part of me just wishes to go back... to forget about France, to just say: "France is not for me." The other wants to stay here and continue hoping... fear of not getting in in Singapore either, with all the high school standards. Fear of not being able to do all the homework, or not fitting in... or just, not being able to stand it.
I thought being free did not include this.

Omg, 'twas so freaking hot on Thursday, that I decided to wear shorts the next day. The problem with wearing shorts though, is that people keep staring at you. WHAT'S WRONG WITH SHORTS? D: Not counting the fact that mine are super short, but oh well... >.> Even the teachers were freaking out over people wearing them to school. If you want to be picky over clothes, just throw a uniform at us, 'kay? Sheesh.
German class: "You know, we're debating whether to ban shorts from school or not. It's not proper. If you read the **th article in the ***th section of the school rules, you need a proper outfit. And proper outfits are decided by the administration."
I'm surprised I didn't fall asleep listening to him. Also, a friend told me about our physics teacher being a pervert...
Physics class: "Just a short notice. The administration has decided to ban shorts starting on Monday, so if I see any of you wearing them, you'll be sent to *****. If you guys have any problem about it, you can express them to the principal. I, of course, have another opinion."
-ahem- Another opinion? AND WHAT MAY THAT BE!? Later on...
"I would like to wear shorts to work, but unfortunately we're not allowed to."

My mum fucking PISSES ME OFF. -_- She is so UNREASONABLE. Whenever she's angry she just takes it out on ME or my DAD. And since my dad's not here... oh no, full blast of her royal Highness' fearful power. =.=" And what made her angry? My bro. Because he was ranting about something(again), and she just suddenly got angry because he was talking in such a RUDE manner. -____- IS THAT EVEN IMPORTANT? WHO THE FUCK CARES IF YOU'RE RUDE WHEN YOU'RE RANTING. I don't even know how my bro can stand her. She doesn't even give a damn about what happened to him and instead cares about his MANNERS. Does she even KNOW why he calls her for everything? Because he has no one to confide to. No girlfriend, though I'm not sure about friends. So whatever ranting he does goes to my mum's ears. Even if she doesn't give a fuck. When has she ever cared anyway? Always cared about herself... even when my bro was being insulted in school he didn't bother to tell her because she won't even CARE. The only time I ever saw her caring was when I was a kid and almost got crushed by her precious pots and pans(loud ruckus I tell you). -snort- Or I guess she was worried those pots of hers being deformed, dropping from about 2 meters. -_- When my leg got scalded, did she care? No, she was pissed because it was just so "bothersome" to wipe the floor. When I hurt my leg, did she care? Noo, she didn't even glance. When I get sick, what happens? "You should eat that medicine and get better." Sounds pretty nice right? There's the next part too. "Because once you get sick you start coughing at night and it's ME who won't be able to sleep." Yes, your royal Highness needs her beauty sleep, I just TOTALLY forgot. When there's a stranger in the house, she just acts like a reeaalllyyy caarrriinnggg mother(with a bloody fake sweet voice) and insults her own kids in front of someone.
"You know, you need to maintain a good image for the family so I won't get embarrassed." -snort- And when my bro fails to get in a university in Singapore? "WHY DID YOU FAIL!? DIDN'T YOU STUDY!? HOW COULD YOU!? NOW YOUR FIFTH AUNT IS GONNA SAY THAT OUR WHOLE FAMILY IS SO DUMB." I was coming to my senses around that time, and stopped thinking she was the perfect mother she totally wasn't, so I just told her, "Have you ever THOUGHT how disappointed he already is by failing to get in? He's 20 years old, he doesn't need YOU behind his back scolding him for not working hard enough, and btw it's YOU who messed up his education." I would have liked to add a "so fuck off" but that would probably be too much for someone with such a HIGH class in society. That was the first time I saw her speechless. She stopped scolding my bro, but now she pretty much uses all her tactics on ME. I'm not even gonna bother continuing this rant because I'm sure you guys have more stuff to do than read this useless piece of information. I don't even know why my brother bothers to call her. I'm out of here once I reach 18.
